England announced a smoking ban for July 2007, Blue-Chip had
already implemented a programme of activity to respond to
the ban north of the border.
Our
campaign for Scottish & Newcastle Pub Enterprises informed
and advised the trade, and stimulated traffic amongst consumers.
A
Lessee Toolkit was the centrepiece, and aside from practical
advice, we offered a range of consumer-facing promotions –
a nightly free prize draw, closely targeted door drop, and
a local press free pint offer.
